I am working full-time and taking one course at the moment. I simply have to budget a little of my family time for it; no one begrudges it. It's going to improve my job skills.

Now, if they would just get busy and finish that so-called DAISY palyer to play bookshare.org books ...

PS How is it you turn bookshare stuff into audio for playing on an iPod again?

Jane, Hadley has, for the most part, ensured that all their courses are easily accessible by screenreaders, and recently including, VoiceOver. I am considering taking an online course, myself. If the Hadley course doesn't come through, I'm working with an Anchorage- based outfit to make their tax preparation course accessible with VoiceOver, since I understand there are a couple of people who are visually-impaired, who are taking the course. I'll have to wait till the next semester or when the new enrollees are to begin. Richie Gardenhire, Anchorage, Alaska.

Well, I called Hadley School and apparently I am already in their database since I took a course a while ago--almost 10 years ago, actually. So they enrolled me in Business Communications, and I started the course online tonight. Very accessible! I haven't submitted my first assignment, so we will see how that goes, but even so, I am pleased so far.
