Please guys, I know this is offtopic, but it involves my job and I
just started there and don't want to lose it. I really need your
help. Feel free to message me or to e-mail me offlist. I'm including
my contact info below. I've been sending this to a few places.

"I'm having a few problems here and am wondering if anyone can help me
please. I have a desktop (not sure what kind) and a laptop (HP
Pavilion ze5385us), both running XP. On the desktop, I keep getting
this error "exception given in module aviWUSB54Gv4.dll at 0002516B".
it pops up every few seconds. I looked it up and found this site.

But I'm nervous about uninstalling the driver, since I need to be able
to use the internet. I've had this problem back when we were with
Comcast. We're now with Verizon and using a different modem and the
problem is persisting. Any advice? can I just uninstall the driver
and have it go online to reinstall it or will it cause trouble? Can I
go to that site suggested and run the Netcheck application like they
said, or would me having a secure connection prevent that?

My second problem is more pressing and may or may not be tied to the
first. I recently got a job that uses a program called VanillaSoft.
http://www.vanillasoft.com
It won't work on my Mac, even though it says it works with Safari. If
any of you know a way around this, I'd really appreciate it. Anyway,
I've been trying to use it on my XP laptop, but that's barely working.
The adapter port broke and the adapter is literally put in with a
piece of tape. It dies and then comes back... it's a mess. It also
sometimes restarts itself sometimes, but I had that even before the
port broke. So I'm trying the desktop, but although I can enter the
information in Quick Results, when I click the link for Call Results,
it won't go there. My laptop says new browser window and opens the
page. My desktop does absolutely nothing. I thought it was the
version of IE, so I upgraded to Service Pack II and the same problem.
When I ran the test controls on the desktop, I got the information bar
and the test told me that I failed the pop-up blocker disabled check.
I also failed the testability to run the TAPI control from my bbrowser
and I failed restart browser after installing control. I don't know
what all of that means, but I checked my pop-up blocker settings under
tools and it said it's turned off. Maybe, the application error
message is messing this up? But I can access all other sites without
a problem. Please, can anyone help me? I want to be able to use a
stable and reliable computer for work.

Thanks,
Tiffanitsa"
