Yes, you can check your voice mails by doing the following.
Make sure you are in the main Skype Window
VO until you get to a button and press VO H and it should say "missed
events"
Press the button using VO space bar
VO right until you get to a table and interact
On each line you will hear VO say unknown, press VO shift M and arrow
until you hear listen
You will not hear the name of the caller, time etc., but you will know
it's a voice mail because it says listen and if the first item you
hear is call that just means it's a missed call but again you will not
know the info for who called. Just in case you want to record your
calls, voice mails or video conferences you can download and try
before you buy a application called Call Recorder found at ecamm.com.

Well, I signed up for Skype Out (where I can call people) and Skype In
(where they can call me). But I also signed up for the voicemail
service and can't figure out how to retrieve my mail. I changed the
message but when I looked on the web to find out how to get my
messages, the descriptions were all visual. So is there a way to do
this with VO? If not, then will it be accessible on my XP machine? I
didn't pay much, only $6, but I'd like to be able to use it. Btw, I
also found two Skype phones that look pretty accessible and that work
with the Mac. the first is the Keyspan Cordless Mac skype Phone
(watch the loud synthesized speech in this link)

and the second is the Yealink Fonaso W1DL Cordless Internet Phone

I think I want to get the latter. Has anyone worked with these
phones? If so, how were they in use and accessibility?
Thanks,
