when you plug it in, go to the input tab of the braille options in the vo 
utility and have a look at the list of commands and the keys which perform 
them.

hey i'm curious, has anyone ever used a brailliant 40 brail display?
I'm curious since i dont know how to use one of those, and the oregon
school for the blind, no the 19th, wants me to show them one being
used. Is it hard to get one to come up and start working>
