Audio clean up

Listers does anyone know of a application that will remove the hiss  
and popping from audio that has been digitized from tapes? I have some  
audio books that I want to clean up but I've never done this type of  
thing before. I have Amadeus Pro, Fission and Audio Hub if any of  
these programs will do it, I just didn't see a option or didn't know  
what to look for.
