Hi everyone...
I've got my torrent and Skype issues sorted out for now. And I am
finding myself with another question.
How do you get ogg audio files to play on the Mac?
I googled it and was directed to this thing called XiphqT 0.18. But
honestly? I haven't a clue what to do with it. It is sitting on my
desktop right now.
The webpage I got it from said some stuff about frameworks and
library and a bunch of stuff that, to me, in my fairly newbee state,
don't make any sense to me at all.
I just want to listen to Ogg files! LOL so is there something like
a Winamp for Mac or some easier way to get this thing? Program?
Plugin? Whatever it is sitting on my desktop to work properly? Or
is there some program out there like, Goldwave (it's the audio
program I used on Windows and the one I know of the most) for the
Mac to convert Ogg to MP3?
Personally I like MP3 better, because I have more things that work
with it, iPod, CD player, Computer, Phone, ect. that work with it.
I know people say ogg is better, clear sound, smaller file size, but
to me that isn't much of an issue... So if there is any way to get
these Oggs to play on here, even if it means batch converting them
to mp3 or whatever, that is perfectly fine.
Thanks for any help in this!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
