oh wow... I would have never thought about that one... Yeh. I'll try switching to dom. Strange how I never connected the dots. It really seemed to me that, what I was doing in Skype had nothing to do with this.

Anyways, thanks a bunch! from Varennes, Qc, Canada

Yo do you use groups mode? If so than that's your problem.

Hi,

thanks for the command to reach the bottom easily. Do you get our chat frame to update dynamically (and immediately) as someone sends you a chat? Because if you do, then I'm the only one with this problem... In other words, if you arrow down can you always see the updated (latest) chat that has just been sent to you?

Thanks,

Cheers, from Varennes, Qc, Canada

I just arrow to the very bottom of the chat window and see the last thing that has been typed. A quicker way is VO, shift, function right arrow or the num pad commander version of the same is the number 1 by default.

Hi all,

I have installed Skype on my MacBook Pro. I tried to chat with someone. I see the 1st thing he said. I'm able to type him anything I want and he could see it. However, when he replies back, I don't see it. How does one update the chat frame?

The weird thing is, not sure what I've done but, in 2 instances, I could see the rest ofr the stuff but, it's as if everything was updated in slow motion... Besides, even in the cases I was able to see the new things, I always found myself at the top of the frame, thus I had to to arrow all the way down to see the latest stuff...

There's got to be a better way...

And of course, my Windows friend is now having the laugh of a lifetime, seing the trouble I have to chat with him. And right before we started this chat, I was going on and on about the neat hings my Mac could do... :-)

Cheers to all, and thanks in advance for giving me a hand.

Cheers from Varennes, Qc, Canada.
