Hi friends, Any one seen anything like this before?

I got a dvd full of flac files in a trade. I coppied the files to my macbook for sorting and reburning and insidentally for a bit of listening. As I listened to one of the shows, a song cut off right in the middle and the player jumped to the next track. Thinking I had a bad file I put the dvd into my old windows laptop and checked it. The song plays through to the end. When I checked the sizes of the file on the dvd under windows and the hard drive on my mac they were approximately the same. Then I put the dvd into my macbook and played the file from the disc. It stopped right in the same place. I know I haven't got a bad file because flac has it's own internal crc check and if I have a bad one it shouldn't play at all. But the fact remains, this one apparently healthy file plays just fine under windows but cuts off on the mac.

I don't have anything flac friendly on my windows vm or I'd give that a try, but is there some sort of known bug in vlc that causes some files not to work properly?

Best,

Erik
