burning a CD.

Hi guys, I am trying to burn a CD using my mac, since I have put my  
music collection on their, and the things that I have bought from the  
itunes store have been authorized to play on the mac as well.  The way  
I do it in windows, I find the song I want, make a new playlist, then  
copy and paste them from the library into my new playlist.  I tried  
doing that on the mac, but it won't paste.  It copies, but will not  
let me paste into the new playlist.  I also tried to burn a CD using  
the my music folder on here, and the CD from the HD folder, but that  
one won't play in my stereo, and it is missing two tracks.  Any help  
would be appreciated.  Thanks Mike.
