Unfortunately there is some sort of dialog box that you have to click on or
something which makes absolutely no sense to me, but whatever. If anyone out
there knows of a way to get around this, I'd really appreciate knowing how.

That was the same problem I've been having. I tried it on two different
computers with the same result, so I thought it was my disc or my image.
I'm using ubuntoo 2.10 64 bit edition for single machines.
