Hi David,
You said: the problem is still that I'm not abel to select the actual
account that I want to remove.
VO alwasy says thet the account is unselected whatever I do...?I've
tried vo-shift-space, vo-space and it doesn't seem to work...?
TK: confirm the following things have been done:
• Have you unlocked the lock that protects your Accounts system
Preference?
• Did you make sure that the mouse cursor was either following the VO
cursor or that the mouse cursor was brought to the VO cursor location
before pressing VO-shift-space? It must be VO-shift-space, a simple
VO-space will not give you the result you wish.
• Do you have Fast User Switching on? If so, have you ensured that
the account you wish to delete is logged out?
• If you've met all of the above, be sure to Stop Interacting With the
"Other Accounts" table and the "Accounts and Login Options" list right
away after the VO-shift-space mouse-click action. If you move VO
prior to the Stop Interacting With commands, you may cause VO to lose
focus on the item you wish selected.
• Another method you could use is to use the mouse-click action as
outlined in my earlier post, then use VO-i (Item Chooser) to locate
the Delete Account button, and then press the Delete using VO-space.
HTH.
Later...
