James, I'm sure that controller will b a big help once you figure it out. Unfortunately, it is tough to do that without knowing what the buttons do. Th plac to adjust your microphone though is in sounds under system prefs.

I've also looked in the audio midi setup and tried to get Skype to recognise it but it doesn't. This makes me think that it is an issue with the microphone itself.
