James,

I'm sure that controller will b a big help once you figure it out.
Unfortunately, it is tough to do that without knowing what the buttons do.
Th plac to adjust your microphone though is in sounds under system prefs.

Enjoy!

Subject: C Media headphone set microphone not responding

Hi folks,

My new headset microphone arrived yesterday. However, it appears a C
Media USB headphone set, and whilst I can hear out of the headphones,
the microphone does not respond.

The headset came with a separate USB with a box and four buttons, two
of these appear to be sound, and I've pressed all the buttons, but
still no look getting any recordings from my microphone. I have
searched the internet, but so far a I can tell, no one on any of the
forums has had this particular problem.

I've also looked in the audio midi setup and tried to get Skype to
recognise it but it doesn't. This makes me think that it is an issue
with the microphone itself.

Has anyone encountered this problem before?

Thank you

James
