Thanks Darcy. You're right, there's not a lot of info in that help
panel, but there's not a lot to cover either. I think we can make use
of this especially since you can also magnify things in the VO caption
panel.

can tell you that the magnifier for the mac is called zoom. You
turn it on and control its options in the universal access section
of system preferences under the seeing tab. There is a help button
under that tab, but I'm not sure how much info is actually there.
