Ok, it appears to be a Verizon thing because my boyfriend's computer
was running really slowly, and that's saying something considering the
age and processor speed of the machine *very old*.  But it also
happened on my desktop.  Ebay said there was a server error and
craigslist won't work on any machine.  This morning, I had a glitch
with gmail where it said server error for a second before returning.
So I guess we'll have to call them and see what's going on.  Anyway,
just thought I'd update you guys.
