In case anyone else wants to make this change, just login with your email address and password here:

http://www.MacVisionaries.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss_macvisionaries.com

and then navigate down through the page to a series of radio buttons for preferences. One of them will be to not receive an acknowledgment of your own postings. Another option is to not receive copies of emails you sent.

As was mentioned at the start of this thread, the messages seem to be arriving in random order. For example, on this thread the mails arrived in my inbox at the following times

9:56
10:34
11:24
11:32
11:31
11:29
11:42
11:51
11:31

So in some cases I received replies before I received the original email, which can be kind of confusing. In this particular case there were three out of the 9 messages received out of order.

Ah sorry, I just found the link to change my preferences and turned off that annoying acknowledgement - teach me to take more interest in list instructions.

I think we all get this mail. The most annoying thing is that the mails doesn't come in my inbox in the right order. It seems as some mails take a while to be send including my own mails.
