connecting to shoutcast servers with Nicecast?

Just trying out nIcecast here, to decide if it's osmething i'd wnat,  
and I'd want it mainly to connecto shoutcast servers.  I don't see any  
way that this is possible, but maybe i'm missing somethi	ng.  And is  
there any way that we can do stuff like talk over tracks, since that  
effects area is not very accessible?
