TK: No, that is not normal behavior. I have one at home and too many to count here at work and temeratures like that are not normal at all. Sometimes, they can get a little warm but if your CD is really as hot as you've mentioned then that's not good. You'll need to get it checked out as soon as possible in my opinion.
