I would like to point everyone to odt2dtbook a plugin for OpenOffice
3, the VoiceOver compatible version of OpenOffice currently in beta
testing. odt2dtbook will permit you to save files in dtbook format
which can be used to generate DAISY books with the Daisy pipeline or
with my DTBmaker program both of which run on a Mac.
This gives OpenOffice the same "Save as Daisy" feature as Word. Some
DAISY play back devices can read dtbook files directly as well.
