That's not good news for David. It might mean a reformat is in order.

Actually, I remember seeing a boot camp update on apple's site, and
it said that this should definitely be installed before installing
xp sp3

Are there any driver updates on windows update?
Sometimes that fixes problems. Some times that makes them a whole
lot worse.
SP3 is spemless for me under fusion. Not that I actually use it
that much, but I can't see any practical difference between sp2 and
3.
Also, what about checking bootcamp for updates?
Or even rolling back to sp2 although again that can be as
distructive and disruptive as doing nothing.

Erik

Hi all,
Since upgrading to xpsp3, I have been having an issue on my Imac
which is
rather strange. Sometimes, when I boot into windows, I encounter
the system
halt. It happens most of the time and if it happens several
times and I
start in mac os and then restart streight to windows, it does not
happen.
Any Ideas? Also, I was working on another issue and discovered
that if I
remove the apple windows drivers, it does not happen.
Thanks for any help.
