I tried it out, and it all ended up with a disc either my mac or pc liked :(

Maybe someone who uses the PC or Toast, or who burns files
with this app or Nero can give you a better answer, but aren't these
files (with the .toast extension) just ISO files? I think if you rename
the extension from .toast to .iso then any application that handles
ISO files will be able to burn it. To be on the safe side, make a copy
somewhere before you try to rename and burn the file.
Hopefully, someone more knowledgeable can give you an answer.
