Hi Dan,

As Jacob said, the information on current song shows up in the top
status line.  I navigate there with VO-up followed by VO-left from the
songs outline to get to the iTunes player status.  If your focus is 
somewhere else, Command-L always brings you to what you're
currently playing (in the Songs Outline).
