Won't work that way unfortunately, I think you can just select the songs.

HI again.
I also have a 2gb shuffle.
does this also work if you have a playlist already made and want to
transfer the entire playlist to your shuffle?
I'm sure I tried a vo shift m on the playlist and no menu appeared.

Here's what I do. Find the song and interact with that song. Then do
a vo-shift-m to get to the context menu. Arrow down the list of
options until you hear "add to play list". It has a submenu so hit
your right Arrow and then arrow down the list until you hear your
IPod's name. Now I'm using the Shuffle so at this point I just hit
enter, but I assume if you hit your right arror you could navigate a
list of folders on a bigger IPod ane hit enter when you get to the one
you want.

Hi all.
Can anyone who uses an ipod and iTunes please tell me once I select
some songs in iTunes, how do I copy them over to my ipod?
It seems you can't use copyh and paste. I'm sure i'm doing this wrong
so I would really appreciate some step by step instructions please.
Thanks all.
