Hi All,

An Australian website, www.nch.com.au, offers a number of pieces of software for Mac, a few of them to do with audiofiles. One of them is called Switch and is a neat application that converts various formats of audio files to other formats. I used to use it regularly on the Windows side.

I've downloaded the Mac version and installed it successfully without sighted assistance. When it came to adding files to the list for conversion, I hit a problem with the "add to list" dialogue. I can choose a folder using the button and then I arrow right where I come across the sidebar table. I usually leave it alone because if I try to interact with it, it changes the folder selected under the previous menu button. Then to the right again where I come across file browser. That's where the fun begins. I interact with it, I find my folder where the audiofiles are located but I cannot choose it. I only get the file browser in the dialogue, not the file table as it is the case in other applications.

Listers, are there any techniques that might help me overcome this? Or is it a design fault and I would need to let Nch Swift know about it?

Thanks, Simon
