Hi
The easiest way to change shortcut keys is as follows:
highlight the shortcut you wish to change with regular arrow keys. Tab over until you get to the edit text with the shortcut key in it (it'll say something like command-space edit text). Now press the key you wish it to be assigned to.

Hi All,

I have been attempting to change the shortcut key that would enable me to change keyboard layouts on the fly when in an application. The shortcut key assigned to changing keyboard layouts "command +spacebar" conflicts with the command for activating the spotlight. Although I followed the instructions for changing the shortcut key, I failed to do so repeatedly. I don't seem to be able to double- click on the shortcut key as instructed in order to assign a new key combination. I tried clicking both with the voiceover command "vo +spacebar" as well as with the physical mouse having routed it first to the voiceover cursor. Can anyone help?

I also wanted to ask whether if I should change my keyboard layout to a non-latin language, I will have problems using Voiceover and accessing status bar and doc and the like?

Many thanks, Listers, Simon
