This morning, I decided to reinstall the OS from scratch on one of my Macs. In the process I had to re activate iTunes without any problems. Furthermore after I restored all purchased materials, everything worked without a hitch. Where I had to provide my Apple ID and Password, it ran just fine and I was never asked to review my iTunes account. Then I purchased another song. All I did was to check in and purchase the tune. Again, I never had to review my account ore reconfirm anything regarding my account.
Fantastic. This was prior to my upgrading to OS X 10.5.4.
