Hi Janet, I've got mine set to speak incoming messages, and things
like that on this end. I could work with you off-list to get that
going, since it's kinda tricky.

I do know that if you go to Adium Preferences, and then go to
Events, you will have a list of notifications set for messages, file
tansfers, contacts coming and going. And you can interact with it
and makes some changes from there.
I was trying to get it to speak "New Message" "Contact On" and so on
with the Victoria voice, but I'm not sure I did it right. So I'm no
help there. I can't seem to get it to play the speech for me.
Still working on it.
Anyone have a .mac account and know how to disable all those bots on
the .mac messenger?
