using find command in safari

Hi, I'm trying to use VO keys f to find a particular bit of text on a  
webpage. I know the text is there, but sometimes it finds it, and  
sometimes it does not.  I do online grocery shopping and I need to be  
able to search for my product within quite a long list of items.  Is  
there a fast and reliable way to do this?  It seems if I unload and  
reload voice over, I get more reliable results, but it's rather a  
silly work around.
