May seem sad, but if you had tried the earlier version, this is an
improvement. Share your comments with the Open Office team, they would
benefit from our feedback.

Hi All,
Have just looked at some of the features of open office.
1. I have tried to insert a table into a text document. Whilst I was
able to navigate the insert table dialogue, once the table was
isnerted, I was stuck. I get a kind of clicking noise we hear when
downloading a file but that's all that happens for us. Trying to
move Voiceover throws me out of the table. The same thing happened
when I actually opened a document in Open Office which contains a
table. As soon as Voiceover encounters a table, a clicking noise
starts and one is stuck.
2. I also tried some of the menu items. Within the Tools/Options
menu, you can't actually successfully navigate the menus and make
your choices. The same goes for prefeences.
3. Spreadsheets give you no indication where you are in the table.
This is just a brief sumary of my very short experience of the Open
Office suite.
Sad!
With best wishes
