Dear Listers, I have very recently reported in an upbeat fashion that the most recent update to the electronic multilingual dictionary, Ultralingua, has resolved issues regarding mode of navigation of its HTML result pane.

Indeed, on first launching the application after the upgrade, it did appear that the "group navigation" was now working. Unfrotunately, after a while, I realised that the same problem with group navigation surfaced and I had to switch back to DOM navigation in order to read the result pane successfully.

I have informed Ultralingua of that issue again, emphasising the fact that group navigation was a preferred and better option for visually impaired user to move through the results.

I would like to apologise for any confusion which I may have caused by overenthusiastically reporting the improvement which actually is not material yet.

I do hope that Ultralingua will continue to work on better accessibility for us. In the meantime, the advice I gave in the help file on using Ultralingua with Voiceover still applies: i.e. to set web navigation mode in the Voiceover utility to DOM navigation.

With best wishes
Simon
