Hi: Slightly off topic but Mac and Apple related.
I use an iPod with iTunes and have probably a couple thousand tracks. I find that the volume varies on different tracks to the point that I end up turning up the volume or turning it down on the iPod depending on what song is playing. I'm looking for some way to level or normalize the volume of my music library across all tracks so that things are more equal in terms of volume. I believe I've tried to use some function within iTunes but it doesn't seem to work when carried over to the iPod. Anyone have some insights on this and how I might fix the problem I'm having?
