This is v2.7 for the Mac. I for no reason at all, can't figure out why:
someone just called me. I was outta the room and barely heard it ringing.
Time I got back there, they'd hung up. I have no way now a knowing who
called. I did command+4 to bring up the history, but it clames the outline
there is blank. I can't interact with it since it is so. I made sure first
that the search field was blank, as I thought maybe the history only showed
the items for the currently highlighted contact in the con tacts outline,
but, that doesn't seem to be the case.
I dono, I gotta admit: I'm a little puzzled.
I did go under preferences and make sure under chatting that the popup menu
for keep chat history was set to two weeks, and not to never. I think that
is more for text chat though, not for everything like missed calls etc.
I'm running Tiger 10.4.11, and again, Skype 2.7, which I think is the latest
for O S X. If you have any idea what we can try to do, let me know.
I love the version of Skype for the mac. It's da balm, but this is really
really irritating. The other issue I am having is how to know someone's
status. I can't even go through the contacts in my outline, or at least, I
don't know a way to, and see if they're online or not. Yeah, I can go in
the view menu, and tell it to not show offline contacts, but that is again
kind a not good. or is that really the only way with voice over. I just
figure there has to be a more effective way. O well, if not, then, so much
for that.
Anyway, the first one a these two questions takes highest priority about the
history, so, if anyone has a clue, do, let me know. No hurries, but it
would be nice to figure this out.
Chris.
