I am not looking forward to dial up, but not sure if I'll have broad
band access. Guess I'll live with it for a week. :)
Thanks for the AOL info.

You'll want their latest AOL Desktop which can be found here:

Last version I tried had issues in the compose mail section where VO
didn't echo what I typed and such. I also noticed the installer has
some modal dialogs which after hitting OK I still had to navigate to
the Next button to continue the install. The AIM chat log was also
kind cumbersome to navigate around in. It's getting there as far as
accessibility but not 100% yet.
You could also try out their webmail at
mail.aol.com
or try setting up Apple Mail to suck down email messages. Found a
FAQ here:

Apple hasn't shipped a modem in their machines for sometime.
Broadband penetration these days is high enough that the majority of
users aren't doing dialup.

Hi Everyone,
I will be on vacation next week and will not have access to high
speed internet. I will need to use AOL and dial up. How accessible
is AOL with VO? Where can I get a veraion for mac to install on my
macbook?
I am pretty sure that I will need to purchase a USB modem, because
my macbook doesn't have an internal one. Correct me if I'm wrong;
I got my macbook in December, and I don't see a jack for a modem.
Thanks for any help.
