Thanks for the ideas! :)
I brought up the idea of upgrading the imac to leopard with my boss
this morning, and he thought it could be worked out.
Tiger certainly works with the basic functions, but leopard is a great
improvement!

It really wasn't that long ago, but wow, it's hard to imagine life
before Leopard. :) I'll have to google around, but I remember
seeing a list of VoiceOver changes in Leopard. Although it wouldn't
be a perfect way to do this, that list would show you the features
you wouldn't have. Obviously, I'm not familiar with your situation
and comfort level, but given how much money your employer has saved
by not needing to purchase assistive software, you might be able to
convince them to upgrade one of their Macs to Leopard. After all,
the cost isn't that great and they're planning to do it anyway.
Depending on your employer, they may be receptive to this -- they
don't have to buy a screen reader, they get you using their machine
VS your laptop and you get the system you're already familiar with.
I'll send that list soon as I can find it.

Hi Everyone,
Until now I have been hooking my macbook up to the network at work
(I got permission to do this because it saved my employer shelling
ut tuns of money for jaws etc) Now, our graphics department has an
extra Imac desktop which is running tiger and my employer would
like me to use this computer instead of hooking my laptop up to the
system.
My question is how different is voiceover on tiger from voiceover
on Leopard? Will I have the same functionality with the earlier
version of VO? Eventually we are going to upgrade our macs to
leopard, but this hasn't happened yet so I will need to use tiger
for a bit.
Thanks for any tips anyone can give.
