Hi Vickie, I think that when Darcy referred to the "manual" for the I-Tell he meant the Information download link you get if you select the link to download catalog and software updates, then go to the last entry (for the I-Tell) on the resulting page and select that link, which brings up the Instructions:
http://www.cobolt.co.uk/Instructions/I-Tell.txt I also meant to post two other commercial solutions for iPod usage that use voice control. Both of these (from Accenda and from DirectVoxx) are pretty pricey ($100 and $150, respectively). They were discussed in an Engadget article last week: http://www.engadget.com/2008/07/16/directvoxx-muso-voice-control-accessory-is-more-expensive-than-i/ The Accenda is set for a September release; the DirectVoxx muso is supposed to appear at the end of the year. Here's the link to the YouTube video that demos the DirectVoxx muso: http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=_qQV26tfb30 The web site links to the Accenda Voice Control for iPod and DirectVoxx Muso are: http://www.accendaproducts.com/description2.htm http://www.directvoxx.com/Products.htm HTH Cheers, Esther On July 24, 2008, at 02:30PM, John Weir wrote: >Someone said that they had read the manual for the ITELL, how do you >find this manual, I have searched their site and dont see a link? >Vickie Weir > >James Austin wrote: > >> Thanks Esther, Do you use IPods if so, how do you use yours? >> >> Warmest wishes >> >> James >> On 20 Jul 2008, at 01:57, Esther wrote: >> >>> Hi Darcy, Simon, and James, >>> >>> I think Will is talking about this product from Cobolt Systems in >>> the UK: >>> >>> http://www.cobolt.co.uk/news.asp >>> >>> I've pointed to the news page that lists the I-Tell, with a price of >>> 59.95 >>> pounds.
