One of the risks of being online. People in groups see your email address.
Phone number? I wouldn't be sharing that, except with someone I was pretty
darn sure about.

I was the victim of some malicious nonsense recently from another list. A
person flamed me on the list. And again. And again. Finally the moderator, a
friend of mine over the years, had enough and wrote this person a note saying
stop, or you're out. Well this person doesn't know who my friends are, so he
assumed I complained about him, and retaliated against me by attempting to give
my email address to Viagra (I managed to block it, yea! and saved my email
address). I'm sure it was him. He recently changed his own email address.
Inadvertantly spammed himself, I think. And he got one of his friends to
contact Felix about me (his friend knows Felix). Making threats at me through
Felix. Felix blocked his used-to-be friend after that, without responding at
all. A whole lot of nonsense. I didn't do anything at all. Didn't comment
back. Didn't write the moderator, although I was getting ready to when the
moderator acted on my behalf anyway. Crazy. But, it happens now and then
online. That's life.
