hey listers
I emailed apple accessibility a few days ago regarding the
inaccessibility of listening to voice posts on live journal, I know
I'm not the only one who's mentioned this, lol. anyway, I got a
response today and here's what they said.
Hi Jessi:
I took a quick look at the source for the web page you mentioned, and
it appears to be using Adobe Shockwave/Flash to play the audio. Is it
possible the web site changed the way they create their pages about
the same time Leopard came out? Adobe hasn't yet made this accessible
on the Mac so if the site is using it to play the MP3s, then it
wouldn't work using VoiceOver.

sigh, not good news. maybe we should all go bug the people at adobe
and see if they care enough to make it accessible? stupid flash. it's
evil.
