SS: An interesting question. My understanding is that in the latest build of Fusion, the Mac home folder is shared as a read only folder visible under windows. I changed this behavior because I want to be able to create various files and save them outside my virtual drive i.e. somewhere in my mac home folder. My guess is that since I've allowed read/write access to my home folder, a virus could cause damage i.e. there'd be nothing stopping it from deleting files from my home directory, or accessing their contents. i'd definitely recommend running a virus checker of some sort on Windows and if you're really worried, disable sharing of the Mac home folder except for those times you really really need it.
