it should, I sent someone a WMA file I made and they were able to
convert it to mp3 using switch, so I dunno why it's not working for
me!! lol. he even sent me the exact same version he used to convert my
file, and it doesn't work for me. lol

Hi. I'm not sure that switch does .wma files? It seems like I've
tried before, but I'm not sure so don't take my word for this. And
I don't think switch would do .avi files since they have video. I'm
not sure but I think it might just be audio to audio. Again, I
could be wrong, so don't take my word for it.

hey, listers
switch and I had a fight last night, lol. I was trying to convert
some WMA files that I recorded with my olympus ds50 recorder to mp3
format. I was able to get into the convert dialog fine with VO, but
when I looked at the converted files, it said they were only like 4
kb in size. this happened with both the trial switch software and
the free version. I looked all through the menus andprefferences
and tried deleting and reinstalling the program, everything. but I
can't figure out how to make it convert things properly. I even
looked online tosee if I had to install any kind of mp3 encoder
like I know you sometimes have to do for pc, and it didn't look
like there was anything like that that needed to be done.
anyone have any ideas? I feel bad, cuz my friend who wanted these
files in mp3 format wanted them today, but I spent a couple hours
last night trying to figure it out and then got tired and went to
bed, lol. so he'll just have to get them when I figure it out, lol.
