You can use textedit. The Format menu's Text submenu allows you to insert lists, tables, links etc. When you go to save it though, just save it as .html.

If you want to edit raw text with tagging and the like, take a look at Smultron.app it's free and you can find it via versiontracker or google.

Listers I need to write an article that will have HTML coding in it and was wondering what application I need to use in order to accomplish this? It's going to be in a news letter and not on a blog so Ecto and Mars Edit won't help in this case. Any assistance will be appreciated.
