Do you know about my issue though with why certain web sites just won't play the embedded audio? It's not even flash or anything. It's just a darn wave or mp3 file.

o, btw, yes, I do have in itunes, it set to play and handle internet audio.

Chris.

OK guys. I can vouch to say, this is not just a Tiger issue either, as I've tried this in an Apple store on a Leopard machine, and I also have a friend running Leopard who tried it as well.

Take sites like say:

whitestick.co.uk
Or say

for-the-people.com

not that those sites, on a Mac are rellivent, but I'm making a point here, so hear me out.

Basicly, any site with embedded sound. When the page loads, I definitely hear the chime telling me that it is opened, but, I hear absolutely no embedded sound. I even hit command r to reload thinking maybe something went kuh plooey, screw but again, chime, but no sound. this is happenning both with the <EMBED SRC="path"> as well as the <BGSOUND="Path"> tags. If anyone has a clue, I'd be incredibly interested in hearing your explaination for this irratic behavior.

Chris.
