Thanks Steve,
Not only do I remember it, I played it only a few months ago on my old
windows system. This setup had several drawbacks. First... It
ran... Very slowly... in a dosbox... and was rather... combersom... to
read. Second, I've misplaced my John Nelson Eamon for dos disc.
Third, I am now the proud owner of a macbook pro, and I don't like to
ponder what it might be like trying to run Eamon, in a dosbox, under
windows xp, in a virtual machine, on my macbook. There's a whole in
the bottom of the sea, lol.
I suppose I would add to that that the john nelson disc only had about
20 games on it, where-as there are about 250 total games. Of course
the ones on the john nelson disc were mostly his own, so no sooers of
chicago, no twin castles, no a lot of the games I played as a kid.
Although, we do get assault on the clone master in the john nelson
set. That is a very cool slash and grab adventure where you are
virtually guaranteed to be slaughtered under the weight of enemie
attackers.

Wow, someone else who remembers Eamon. Although this isn't Eamon
specific, you might want to check out: http://www.ifarchive.org/indexes/if-archive.html
. I also think I remember seeing some information on http://www.softcon.com
.

Hi guys, I'm really pining for eamon at the moment. Has there been
any progress on an accessible emulater? I just tried 5 of them and
they all flopped. Of course, part of the problem is that you need
an apple Ii rom, and some of the free ones don't ship with one, but
still, I got to look at a lot of interfaces today and I found them
wanting.
