Upgrade is slated to be free for existing users, I read that somewhere in the beta docs.

I also submitted comments and suggestions to VMWare and I have some questions. If you have a version of Fusion, will the update be free, or is there a nominal cost for the update? Richie Gardenhire, Anchorage, Alaska.

I've been submitting feedback, but as you know, it's not been implemented yet. I like the old settings pane better...

I know I submitted feedback and requested the settings dialog be looked at for access purposes. Did anyone else submit similar feedback for the last beta? My hope is that we can have access to settings before they release a final candidate.

Just wanted to let folks know that there's a new beta version of Vmware's Fusion, beta 2 released yesterday. Although the machine settings pane is just as difficult to use as it was in beta 1, they've revamped the "express setup" assistants making them both easier to use and more accessible. I'm still playing around with it having just installed the new version, however, it seems that audio works a bit better. I know there's been some discussion on the list concerning Ubuntu, so will try installing that next.

For more info, go to www.vmware.com and follow the links to Fusion.
