Hi when I tried it, and I had bold in english articles no format
indicators were shown. obviously in my view anyways, layout indication
is imporant not only for me and Simon as translators but in general
for us to see, where text is emphasized etc. so that if we are pointed
to a marked passage we can distinguish its layout, too. the only
option i think will be duxbury

Will, I have just started using Louis but as yet I am not able to
tell whether Louis has an option of marking formatting when
converting into Braille. Best thing to do is download Louis and have
a look at the help file. I know it is damn difficult for us, those
of us who need formatting for translation purposes. Best wishes,

Hi to all,
Can the louis program developed by Greg, show formatting in
documents?
So if one has italicized text can it show up in the language of
choice that they are reading in?
So for example, in French the bold and or italics is 4 5 6. Would
this show up in lewis if I instruct it to show formatting if
indeed, this can be done?
