adium message log

HI there,
I can almost garintee that this question has been asked and answered before 
however, I have a little problem with adium. I am running Version 1.3 Beta11 
and for some reason, in the message log, when going to the bottom certain 
messages that I may send or the contact may send will not appear in the log. 
Has anyone experienced such an issue and a resolution therein?
