Sorry about the confusion of the Chriss <smile> It looks like somebody beat me to it and put the inaccessible license agreement instructions in as a product tip. Thanks to whomever did that. I had forgotten about it because it was so long ago that I did the installation. I've added a comment about the inaccessible license agreement stuff on versiontracker.

To Chris Gilland,

My post about how to get past the inaccessible license agreement for Audio Recorder was directed to Chris Blouch (CB), who suggested this as a free audio recording software. I'm sorry if this wasn't clear, since his posted suggestion was included below my reply. Again, I wasn't trying to ask for a fix -- I was reporting what the fix was, according to my reading of previous forum posts about Audio Recorder and CB's own previous posts about having to tab twice and then space to OK the license agreement.

I'd not know how to fix this. All I know is that I have the dmg file. I never have tried using it.

Aside that, I know nothing about programming, so I'd not know how to change the license agreement if the code was right there biting me in the arse. LOL!

Chris.

Here is the original suggestion:

I mentioned Audio Recorder a few times before. Basic start/stop recorder which takes input from either the line in or built-in mic.

And here is my responding post to CB, summarizing the fix:

Hi Chris,

I remember from recent list discussions about Audio Recorder that there is an inaccessible license agreement that pops up the first time this app is used in current versions. You posted that to OK it, you hit tab twice and then space. Could you or someone who currently uses this software add a tip about this to the VoiceOver Compatibility list that Greg maintains? (And please correct this if needed, since I don't have Audio Recorder.)

This software is already in that list, with a current link, so you only need to type in the program name and hit the search button or press return.

Thanks,

Esther

Hope this makes sense.

Cheers,

Esther
