Well, maybe Mozilla could create bundles of Firefox plus Fire Vox to download.
Besides, firevox or whatever is flakey and you can't always get what you want.
Sounds like bugs in Fire Vox that need fixing. Doubtless any Firefox implementation working with VoiceOver would have similar bugs initially.
