Unless something has changed recently, SPSS is not VO-compatible, nor are there any other VO-accessible stats packages for the Mac. As a former graduate-statistics student myself, I strongly recommend that you learn to work in Windows, if you don't already know how to do so. Like it or not, the macintosh is not very blind-friendly when it comes to number crunching or other scientific activities by blind individuals. That may change, but for the time being, you will save yourself a lot of frustration if you learn to work in Windows when you have to crunch numbers, make graphs, etc.

(are there any other statistical packages that will work with the same functionality that you want to recommend)? I'm in a stats course that requires a calculator that can do square root and other formulas.
