Hi Olivia,

You can also modify Randy's guidelines and select more than 1 track to add at the same time in step 5. There is a useful tool called the browser that you can toggle on and off in iTunes with Command-B. When the browser is turned on, tabbing from the search text field will move you through three additional columns before you reach the songs outline. These columns allow you to select the tracks displayed in the Songs outline by Genre, Artist, and Album, or any combination of the three.

For example, if you wanted to select tracks from your Music Library that were by a particular artist, you could select your Music Library in the source list, then turn on the browser. After you stop interacting with the source list, tab three times to navigate past the search text field, and the Genre browser to the Artist browser column. Arrow down or type the first few letters of the Artist's name to select. You could additionally tab next to the Album browser column and select one of that Artist's albums. The songs displayed in the song list would be "winnowed" to match your browser selections. You could even select all of them (with Command-A), and add them to your playlist (steps 6 through 10). Toggle the browser off again with Command-B.

Esther
