Pretty much, my subject line says it all. Basicly, I'm wanting to know in
ITunes what the difference is between Party Shuffle, and Creating Smart
Playlists, as from what I can see, they kind of escentially do almost the
same thing.
The other question that I have, while I'm at it, is I've created a smart
playlist. I called it Hymns. Basicly, I set up two rules. I told it that
I want it to play only things with a range of a 3 to 5 star rating, and I
also then further narrowed it to say, only play things with the genre called
"Hymns." Well, that worked perfectly. I also checked the box and told it
to narrow it to being limited to 10 items. Finally, I told it to live
update.
Well, the issue really is, I'm seeing that as I add more things to my
library and set them as hymns, and give them a 3 or higher star rating, I'm
noticing that the smart playlist is not changing. It's remaining the same
tracks same order etc. It's not auto updating. Yes, I did confirm that box
was checked, and it most certainly is. I even had a sighted person look.
They too, confirmed it's checked. So, I'm confused. Am I understanding
that live update checkbox when setting the playlist up, and I not
understanding the concept of how these playlists work, or is there one thing
I'm kind a failing to remember.
