That does help quite a bit. Thank you very much.

Now the only other question that I have about setting up a mail account is my PPL e-mail address is IMap. So, I know unlike pop3 where the mail gets downloaded from the server and that is it, wit IMap, once the folders are downloaded, from the server, then, you have to download the mail. Then to really delete a mail, just hitting delete on it, at least in Windows, would only flag it for deletion, unlike with pop3, where you hit delete, and bam, it's gone. so once marked for deletion, then you gotta tell it to perge messages from the server that are marked for deletion. So, I'm wonderring how Mail, on the Mac's gonna handle this. How do I say perge?

Chris.

Hi,

It is three "VO" right arrows from the "Subject feild". Also, one more
"VO" "right arrow", and you get to a popup that lets you choose the
outgoing server.

Hope this helps,
Thanks for listening,
Alex,

in the message compose window, there is a popup listing the
accounts you
have. the default account is the one exposed but you can change
this for
that message by activating the popup. If you reply to a mesge, you
can also
change the from account but it will default to the account the
message was
sent to.

Alex, what I was wanting to know, was more what I have to do to
select which
account an outbound mail that I am sending would be sent from.

Hi,
C-storerist,

Go to "File" -> Add a new acount ...", and you should be in the
wizzaard
you opened the first time you used mail. If it is not exactly the
same it
is similar. I did it, and I found you had to expand the inbox
colaps and
expand disclosure triangle to check both my e-mail acounts mail
separetly. However, the mail tells you which inbox it was sent to
in the
message table.

Hope this helps,
Thanks for listening,
Alex,
